The Original Medicare Plan and Medigap

Some of the gaps in the Original Medicare Plan consist of the deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments that you are responsible for paying for Medicare-approved services.

Medigap fills these gaps by covering some of the deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments and by providing some additional coverage.
