Medigap Standardized Plans
In most states, if you have Medicare Part A and Part B, you can purchase
1 of 10 standard Medigap plans. In Minnesota, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin,
companies also offer Medigap policies with standard benefits, but they
do not offer the 10 plans, labeled A through J.
Each plan, labeled
A through J, offers a different set of standardized benefits. Plan A covers
only the core benefits. These benefits are included in all the plans.
Plan J offers the most benefits.
