Medigap Policies

PhotoThe insurance agent explains to Sondra and Marvin that before they can purchase a Medigap policy, they need to consider the level of coverage they want. The agent begins by reviewing the Medigap plans.

There are 10 standardized Medigap plans called Plans A through J. Each plan has a different set of coverage options or benefits:

  • Plan A offers only the core benefits
  • Plans B through J offer the core benefits plus additional benefits
  • Plan J offers the most benefits
