Health Plan Options for People With a Disability: Original Medicare Plan, Medicare Managed Care plan, Private Fee-For-Service planMalia asks if her mother's disability will limit her options for Medicare + Choice plans, like HMOs. She explains that her mother is interested in joining the HMO that some of her neighbors are enrolled in.

The CSR explains that all Medicare health plan choices are available to her mother. She may choose the Original Medicare Plan or may join a Medicare Managed Care plan or Private Fee-for-Service plan if one is available in her area.
